Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley was named Offensive Player of the Year after a tremendous performance. Barkley set a team-high regular-season rushing yardage of 2,005, and a career total of 2,447 including the playoffs. His legacy was critical to the Eaglesâ 14-3 record and Super Bowl run.
Patrick Surtain II Earns Defensive Player of the Year
NFL defensive back Patrick Surtain II of the Denver Broncos was defense player of the Year. In his fourth year, Surtain continued to impress with his exceptional coverage skills, earning his third Pro Bowl selection and recording 11 career interceptions. His consistent performance has solidified his reputation as one of the premier defensive backs in the league.
Jayden Daniels and Jared Verse Shine as Rookies
The Offensive Rookie of the Year Trophy was given to Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels. Daniels made an immediate impact in his debut season, showcasing poise and talent that belied his rookie status.
On defense, Los Angeles Rams' Jared Verse was awarded Defensive Rookie of the Year. Versatility and playmaking skills were on display all season for Verse, who became a foundation for the Rams' defense going forward.

Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow won the Comeback Player of the Year award. After overcoming significant adversity, Burrow returned to form, leading the Bengals with resilience and determination.
Kevin O'Connell Named Coach of the Year
Minnesota Vikings head Coach Kevin O'Connell won Coach of The Year. During his time, O'Connell has reinvented the Vikings into an unstoppable team, going undefeated 14-3 and showing his ability to strategize and to be a leader.
Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025
Furthermore, the event also honored the induction ceremony of the 2025 class of the Hall of Fame inductees into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. This year's inductees include:
Antonio Gates: A sentimental, lovestruck tight end Gates is widely regarded as one of the greatest at the position, ever. Over 16 years he scored more touchdowns by a tight end than anybody else, again a record he held on for six years after retirement.
Jared Allen: As a strong defensive end, Allen's ability on the field earned him a place in the Hall of Fame.
Eric Allen: Recognized for his superlative performance as a corner back, Allen's contributions to the game have been honored by induction.
Sterling Sharpe: Partnering with his brother, Shannon Sharpe, Sterling's distinguished NFL career as a wide receiver has been given this legendary endorsement.
Not to mention, this is the first time In the same year Hall of Fame siblings are being inducted, the enormous contribution of the Sharpe family to the sport has been revealed.
Arik Armstead Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year.
Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Arik Armstead was awarded the Walter Payton NFL Man Of the Year award for his outstanding service to the community and the work of philanthropy.

NFL Honors was not only an awards show, but a variety show celebrating the greatness of iconic moments and people. Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen walked out in public in a dramatic manner with his fiancee actress Hailee Steinfeld, who offered a bit of high glamour to the event.
