Why Moving in with my Girlfriend vanished away my Prejudices

Moving in with your girlfriend/partner is a big decision to make, we all know. And when I told my friends about my decision to move in with her they gave me a long weird gaze as if I had committed a crime. With all the prejudices in the air, I still decided to shack up with her in her new apartment. Before anyone comes and starts mourning my decision let me tell you all, it went super exciting and I am here to reveal the truth behind this so much stress and tension people unnecessarily take before shifting with their partners. Here's how my presumptions laughed at me:

Her being upfront about finances

When I was about to move in, I called my sister and asked how she was managing her finances living with her partner and she said: It's complicated, bye. Later that evening my girlfriend called me and told me to discuss our needs and expenses before moving in. I was so much relieved and happy that we did this. And all thanks to her.

Her being Fun and Organized

I am not a morning person and she is a fitness freak. I had this fear that what if we fail to have our breakfasts together and chill but made everything so smooth and we did not have to sacrifice our preferred schedules. She never forced me to woke up early and water plants, instead she would finish her workout and make two cups of coffee by the time I woke up and we would cook brunch together with some fun dance moves.

( P.S. She made me water plants while I brush my teeth.)

Us being a good communicator

Before and after moving into her apartment this thing has always stayed with us, even in our ups and downs we can talk, doesn't matter what may come. We fought too but later we sat and cleared out all the concerns. Our fights lead the relationship to another level up.

Her being an uplifter

In my hardships, her behavior did not change, she remained the same with me as if nothing happened. She worked hard to get us out of this situation. I feel so grateful to have her in my life and proud of my decision.
