For us, friendship is an important part of our lives and we do everything to make it last yet, there are times when we see unexpected behavior from our dear ones.
Here are a few tips to help you deal with your feelings and move on:
Learn to forgive
Choose to forgive your friend instead of offending them. Don't talk about filths or disgusts between you two and stop explaining to everyone that it wasn't your fault. It will make things easier for both of you.
Let them go
Remind yourself why you two didn't work out and don't hold onto them. Try to hold your boundaries because now the situation is different. When you feel betrayed by someone whom you considered your best friend, it is not easy to let them go but the first thing you need to do to heal is let them go.
Be kind
You heal faster when you are being gracious to them. You do not rant, you respect their decision and try not to be mean. We suggest that you wish your friend well and focus on your own mental health and happiness.
Don't lose hope
There is always hope of revival even after so many heartbreaks.
When we lose a friend, we need to move on as it can be good to begin something new and make new friends. When you will meet a new group of people, you will get to understand why it does not matter for a friendship to last forever because we are always evolving and making memories together.
