Recently, she spoke on 'Who's the A------?' with Katya's podcast and got candid about some of the difficulties he has been facing as an actor and joked about moving to adult films.
Acting Difficulties
While the actor's last works include projects like "American Horror Story: 1984" and "80 for Brady," he revealed that, unlike sports, acting has different challenges. He further explained that as sports have age limits, continuity can be achieved with acting. He mentioned, "With skiing, with sports, there's such an expiration on it. With acting, you can just kind of keep getting better and better."
Olympic Athlete's Financials
Along with the fact that Kenworthy is an actor, he explained the economic situation of being an Olympic athlete. According to Kenworthy, the few rewards available only from winning medals do offer some money, but the monetary gain is taxed, and very few people pay for time spent training or participating in the Games. This makes most athletes seek outside jobs or grants for further support to establish such athletics as a career.
Future Aspirations
Kenworthy wants to stay in entertainment whether through acting or hosting. He added that he would not mind giving sports commentary here and there, mainly for big events like the Olympics but did not want that to be his only character.
Advocacy and Representation
Kenworthy is out and loud for the past three years since he came out as gay. This man wants to be heard and seen in the advocacy of representation of LGBTQs in sports and media. To him, visibility propels future generations to accept something new. He said, "It's more important than ever to have representation and visibility because it will inspire ... ."
