Patrick and Brittany's relationship started in adolescence. Identical in terms of where they came from, Whitehouse, Texas, they dated in high school and have been together ever since. Despite the strains of long-distance, their tie has weathered together the demands of Patrickâs professional athletic career at Texas Tech and Brittanyâs professional athletic career at the University of Texas at Tyler. Individual activities of Brittany included professional soccer in Iceland and subsequently a vocational career as a certified trainer in fitness. Shared interest in sports and in the community has always been the basis for their collaboration.

The Mahomes family has expanded with the birth of their third child, Golden Raye, in January of 2025. In spite of the all-consuming nature of parenthood and employment, Patrick and Brittany continue to prioritize their personal time for the two of them as a couple, as well as being active in the community. The way they view the Texas Tech game is the ideal way to sum up how they can do whatever they need to do without losing sight of all of the work they have to do to uplift and sustain the communities that are their foundation.
