Struggles of Unmarried men living in India

We must have familiar with the struggles of women being unmarried and the stigma that never leaves them in peace but men too have their problems with staying single in India. They have often been ignored with the 'privileged' tag alongside them, no doubt men are privileged compared to women but when it comes to remaining single and happy, society's hunger starts to get unbearably out of control. Unmarried individuals are its mostly targeted prey to hunt. Now men also have started sharing their struggles and we should really appreciate and understand this.
Here is a list of the struggles they named.

1. Is he not earning enough

Men have always been considered as a bread earner and someone who works only outside of the home. And therefore this struggle arises. When a man decides to stay single because he is not ready to marry for that time then the first thing people start to assume is that he might not be earning enough to look after a new family member.

2. He might be having some illness

Yes, they have this much number of reasons to assume why a man is not getting married.  Leaving all the actual reasons behind our lovely society thinks that this man must have some uncured illness that is why he is hesitating to marry.

3. Must be divorced

A new one, when a man is of 30+ people around them have this absurd yet most common thought in their heads whether he is divorced or has had a marriage called off.
This gets very irritating if he is 40 and above.

4. He is not into women

Haha. Yes without even getting to know about him they consider him gay and find it shameful which is sad and ugly. If a man is living alone or spends most of his time with his friends and watching the game then in the evil eyes he is not a woman lover.

5. Must be an alcoholic

If a man is not getting married by his choice and choosing to remain single, society finds another "secret" about him and whispers in everyone's ear– He is an alcoholic that is why no girl would like to marry him.
