My Husband cooks at Home and it's Normal

The hype men are given by society for cooking and doing the household chores are seemingly unnecessary. In movies and dramas, women are shown to fall for men who cook. And it would repeatedly be brought to scenes where a woman is crying with happiness to see her man cook. We have been told to show more respect to a man who cooks and cleans the table at home. What is so godly in a man who is preparing meals for himself and his significant other? Isn't what us women have been doing for ages? Here's to understand why it's normal to have a male at home who cooks.

It is making him more independent

Earning and buying a bungalow is what everyone is trying to do to look successful and rich. But think if your man knows to cook, it would make him more independent and confident and for this if he is helping in the kitchen then why should we brag about it?

Children are attached to him on a different level

Who doesn't want their children to love them the most? When mothers pack their child's lunchboxes with their favorite food, they feel so much happy even after a bad day in school. Same as if a father prepares lunch for his child, it will bring him closer to the child.

He contributes to ending patriarchy

Women have been fighting for a long time with the societal concept of patriarchy and men have been the promoter of this. So if a man is cooking because he loves to cook then what is the big thing about it? Babe, he has just started contributing to smashing the patriarchy, please don't ruin it by hyping it around.

He doesn't have to waste his money

If a man knows to cook he is eventually saving a lot of money and time going outside. What he is doing is best for him only. He comes to home craving for something and he cooks himself rather than waiting for his woman or cook to come home.
