Signs That Your Kid Is Getting Bullied

A bully can be anyone, anywhere. We also have some harsh memories of being bullied in our school grounds, in our neighborhood, or at some unknown places. Bullying is usually defined as a repeatedly annoying behavior to hurt someone physically or emotionally. It traumatizes the targets of bullying and snatches away their peace. Bullies in schools make kids feel unsafe place to be, and the act of bullying affects their graph of learning. They often target kids who are rich or very poor, famous or less popular. Bullying also occurs in the shade of religion, caste, and race.

It starts as a small entertainment and slowly turns into an obsession. Seeing enjoying the bullying other kids also join them or try to start this on their own. Parents have been showing concern about their kids getting bullied. If you too feel something weird in the behavior of your kid, please read the following signs to arm your child against bullying.

Faking sickness in the morning

In school, when kids are under attack of bullying, they feel terrified of going there and try to avoid it as much as possible. They fake headaches or stomach pain and we send them anyway without knowing the reason behind it.

Lacking interest in making new friends

Kids refuse to go to social gatherings and meet new people in society. This may be one of the major signs showing your kid has gone under emotional torture.

Finding hard to sleep

Have you ever spotted your kid crying at midnight and when ask he/she tells you nothing and fights again to sleep? This is not a nightmare, this is indeed their anxiety reminding them of cruelty and a cry for help.

Losing pieces of stuff

Did you notice why your kid demands a new pencil every day, saying it has been stolen or some torn pages of their notebook in the bag? You know how your kid is hard-working and put effort into doing homework, so why would they tear off their pages?

Showing anger and self-harming behavior

Not just anger, they appear sad most of the time. They do not enjoy going out or playing with other children. They also show self-destructive behavior by slapping themselves, pulling their hair, or running away from everyone.
