In a remarkable display of solidarity, the music industry converged on January 30, 2025, for FireAid, a benefit concert aimed at supporting communities devastated by the recent Southern California wildfires. The event, orchestrated by the Annenberg Foundation, was held simultaneously at two iconic venues in Inglewood, California: the Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum.

The concert featured a lot of artists in all kinds of genres and generations. At the Intuit Dome, listeners were provided with the following performances:

Further, certain AMC Theatres across the country provided live screenings, allowing for broad availability. The event generated over $60 million in total revenue under the categories of ticket sales, sponsorships and charitable contributions. Every dollar is dedicated to current and past wildfire relief efforts and to future wildfire-prevention initiatives, overseen by the Annenberg Foundation.
Community and Corporate Support
The FireAid utility was made in part thanks to the efforts of a variety of stakeholders. U2 led the fundraising off with a generous $1 million, creating an inviting and generous atmosphere for the rest of the event. The Los Angeles Clippers covered all costs of the event, guaranteeing that 100% of the money raised would go directly to the people who need assistance. Other sponsors including American Express, Intuit and UBS also contributed significantly in sponsoring the event.
