Coparenting is when two separated or unmarried partners come together to look after their child. Together they take on the health, care, school, socialization, and raising of the kids. It helps both partners maintain and fairly divide the responsibility of parenthood. The co-parent relationship differs from an intimate relationship between partners in that it focuses only on the child.
Children need both their mother and father, no matter if they live together or apart. The new normal co-parenting is where partners get separated but like to take care of their child together.
With the love of both parents, children move on more quickly and easily to seeing their parents apart, they get along with the new living situations and have better self-esteem.
Co-parenting helps reduce the stress of each parent in making decisions for the child and having a partner to rely on in raising children.
âCo-parenting in harmony â everyone in the mix will benefit from it. Love always prevails.â, says Anna Giannone, Certified Master Coach Practitioner & Co-Parenting Coach.
