Daily soaps in those days were so apt and interesting that we would memorize every line so that we could tell a friend in school with the same enthusiasm. And now when I see people losing their interest and attachment to TV is not only because of mobile phones but the degraded quality of content. The time when we are in terrible need of progressiveness possibly from everywhere, Indian serials have the least to contribute.
