Los Angeles Wildfires Escalate as Strong Winds Hamper Containment Efforts

As of January 14, 2025, the Los Angeles area is still battling intense wildfires. It was made worse by gusts that rose again at speeds of up to 70 mph. These conditions have significantly hampered firefighting efforts. Destroyed thousands of homes and killed at least 24 people and increasing.
