How Society Decides your Relationship's Lifecycle

Society has this very urge to unnecessarily contribute to everything that goes on in other people's lives. Be it your kids joining the stadium to practice, your daughter choosing singing over science, or your youngest son's love for cooking. You will see them everywhere barging into and invading the personal lives of people around. They will be found ready to presume and define one's personality type after a single glance, yes they have superpowers :D Such one of the most torturing invasions and presumptions is how society decides your relationship's lifecycle.

The Foundational fault

How society describes your relationship's lifespan is based on How did these two meet? If you have met your partner on social media or a dating app, then the foundational fault will be responsible for your very short lifespan of the relationship. Yes, congrats! Now you have an astrologer to predict your future.

Only two stages long

According to the very nosy society, Two stages long life cycle of a relationship longs only for its two stages, Stage 1. The Attraction Stage, Stage 2. The Uncertainty Stage. They mostly designate this to college lovers who meet in college and fall in love. Just because they are young and new to the things, they can not take it further? Come on people. Stop.

Till the father meets the guy

When a girl herself selects a partner to marry and starts dating then this society will come and say this ain't gonna work out, let the father meet the guy only. Every relationship after its foundation may face some differences or end up forever, but this is how people go on. But sadly some people think that there is actually an "ideal relationship" that lasts forever. The one that your parents fixed for you without asking about your choices.

The realization cum regression stage

When lovers rebel against their family to marry each other then society has a new measuring term to decide your relationship cycle, The realization cum regression stage. According to the senior or oldest judgmental minds of society, such a relationship only reaches the realization cum regression stage where couples who refused the parents' decision, crawl back to it.

Long distance is not even a thing

Yes, if husband and wife choose to live in different cities due to work then society has a big 'No' to your relationship(Yes, you didn't ask but still). They say, "long distance is not even a thing for married people it is only for those who are not in a serious relationship only."
